Quickly bring your Google Sheets into Descript.io

Steps to Upload Google Sheets to Build your Knowledge Base:

  1. Download Your Google Sheet:

    • Open the Spreadsheet: Access the Google Sheet you want to upload.

    • Download the File: Click on File, hover over Download, and select .xlsx or .csv to save the file to your computer.

    • Save the Document: Store the downloaded file in an easy-to-find location.

  2. Go to Upload Page:

    • Navigate to the Upload Page: Log in to the descript.io app and either click Knowledge in the nav bar or go directly to descript.io/app/knowledge/upload
      ​

  3. Upload the File:

    • Click "Add Content"

    • Select the File: Click on "Add File" and choose the Google Sheet you just downloaded.

  4. (Optional) Add a Source URL:

    • Enter the URL: Optionally, you can add a source URL that relates to the Google Sheet.
      ​

  5. Click Upload:

    • Upload the Spreadsheet: Click "Upload" to complete the process.
      ​

  6. Process Complete:

    • Confirmation: Your Google Sheet is now part of your Descript.io knowledge base, ready to enhance your GTM processes.
